visiting my quilts, Lake Michigan lake house

It was my birthday this past weekend and we were invited to the lake house of friends. I love going there in part because I get to visit my house quilt made in 2006 as a fundraiser for those affected by the 2005 Hurricane Katrina. The pattern is one of Bonnie Hunter.

It's a wonderful quilt and I bet it's like visiting an old friend.:)

How fun to get to go see one of your quilts gracing someone's home. What a fabulous idea for a fundraiser for the aftermath of that awful event.

It looks great on the wall. I always love visiting my older quilts too. It is fun to see the fabrics used in a different time period.
