Klein meisje is Dutch for little girl--what my beloved grandfather called his 12 granddaughters because, I fear, it was easier than trying to remember our names.

Fifteen years . . . that is wonderful. I love knowing what made to choose the name of your blog and love that it is a memory that reminds you of your Grandfather, so sweet.

My dad used to say “Ich liebe dich, mein kleine kint” (German, w/ spelling errors, no doubt) as I’m always so fondly reminded whenever I see your blog. Congrats on your 15 years!
