Red Cross, 2015. Top completed 2015 in celebration of 30 years in nursing. This week marks 40 years.
I love being a nurse and am privileged to be teaching the next generation.
I'm just happy to hear so many people are going into nursing again. I have a great-niece (nurse) and and a great-nephew (doctor) both in the medical field in the Chicago area, both new into it in the last year.
Quilting in Chicago. Klein meisje is Dutch for little girl--what my beloved grandfather called his 12 granddaughters because, I fear, it was easier than trying to remember our names.

What a beautiful memory quilt...the quilting is exquisite on this so graphic and yet full of nostalgia, too...;)))

Such a beautiful quilt and so appropriate for your profession.

Teaching is so important for the next generation of nurses (and so different from when you trained).
God bless you for being in a helping profession.
