alphabet blocks, quilt completed

Alphabet Blocks
93 by 70 inches

Quilted by Sue Divarco.

Made loosely using the Moda Spell it with Fabric directions found here:

My setting direction are here:

I didn't have to cut any squares for the corner blocks, the sashings, or for the border. All were in my 30s reproduction bins of 2 1/2, 2, and 1 1/2 inch squares.
It was one of two alphabet quilts I started this year on New Years Day. It is the fourth alphabet quilt I have made. I am pretty sure more are in my future.

Setting is my design. Use at your pleasure.

Congrats on your finish. I appreciate the time you put into that quilting for an amazing texture. Woohoo!

I like this one with the green background in the blocks.

Very nice indeed, congratulations on another lovely finish. I have made several alphabet quilts too, both pieced and stitchery blocks. Theres certainly something rather nice about these alphabet quilts, isnt there.

That turned out great, Lynn! Love the “postage stamp” border.

This is such a delightful quilt and the green reminds me somehow of a quilt from my 70's childhood. The quilting looks great!
