bullseye

Bullseye
Block finishes 8 inches

Solid
Cut one 2 1/2 inch square
Print
Cut two 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch rectangles
Cut two 3 1/2 by 8 1/2 inch rectangles

Press first seams away from solid
Press block away from center row

I plan to make 120 blocks, set 10 by 12 to finish 80 by 96 inches, or 99 blocks set 9 by 11 blocks finishing 72 by 88 inches.

I just love every one of the quilts you come up with! I save them all, cut out many, and sewing is off and on...Hugs!

What is the difference between a bulls eye block and cobblestone? Just the size of the centre square perhaps? Both are a great way to use up scraps

Nice way to pair solids with prints!

Hi Lynn! I love your bullseye block, but I think the dimensions are not quite right. The 8 1/2 in strip should be 3 1/2 inches wide. I’m going through all my solids to make the 2 1/2 inch squares, and then I’ll go through bigger scraps to get the rest.
Love this block!

Chris was right! I fixed the dimensions in the post.
Thanks, Chris!
