Your quilt is beautiful. I've always loved the Jacob's Ladder block because of the Biblical references in Genesis 28:12 and again in John 1:51. I like to think that our grand and great-grandmothers were thinking of these verses when they made their Jacob's Ladder quilts.
Quilting in Chicago. Klein meisje is Dutch for little girl--what my beloved grandfather called his 12 granddaughters because, I fear, it was easier than trying to remember our names.

Lynn - it's beautiful! I've always loved the Jacob's ladder block - and you used it wonderfully!
Great quilt! I think I might have to have a go at a quilt like this, I have lots of florals from the 90's, and I love the addition of the yellow.

Jacob's Ladder quilts always give such movement for the eye. Especially when there is good contrast between the center section and the outer corners.
Thank you so much for posting this beautiful quilt picture. I have been searching for quilt inspiration - I think this is it!
Your Jacob's Ladder is gorgeous!
This quilt just knocks my socks off!
