county lines

The pattern County Lines by Mountainpeek Creations
http://www.mountainpeekcreations.com/274.htm
has become a new favorite of mine after my friend Donna introduced me to it.
I love that it can be made from what is on my shelves. I've made it with thirties repro reds with aqua sashing--the colors of my grandmother's kitchen! This one I made with fushia and orange batiks.

I like this, it has a stained glass look to it.

Ohmigosh, that is beautiful! The colors just immediately grab you and the thin black lines just make it.

Lynne, did you know i used to work for the store that houses that company, and this pattern was designed by my ex-boss/very good friend??? I was SO excited to see it on your blog!!! I have the pattern at home myself, waiting for a free moment!

Ohh, pretty!

I'd like to see it in turquoises and purples, with the occasional hot pink/fuschia or yellow patch.

A very gorgeous winter coloured quilt! LOVE those colours together :-) Once again, a simple block idea but a stunning quilt!

Wow! My first thought was it looked liked bricked sidewalks or tiled floors! Very cool!
