Hourglass blocks, next up for the solids on prints.
Cutting squares at 9 1/2 inches then into quarter triangles. Setting aside two for another project then sewing these into blocks and plan on trimming down to 8 1/2 inches it I can get that. I am a very accurate piecer, but with these large pieces, a bit of that is lost.
Planning to set 10 by 12.
This was my distract-myself-from-preparing-taxes project! So good to cut into the fabric I bought since packing up my sewing space almost a year ago and mixing it with fabrics I am unpacking now.

up on Hannah's wall
My niece send me a photograph of her living room. I made the H quilt for her graduation. The purple one on the couch I made about 20 years ago.
Love to see quilts being appreciated by the next generation!

blue plaids
Made with reclaimed plaid shirts using the unmatched nine-patch technique I used to teach.
A shirt was given to me this morning by a friend so, shall I make another?
I made this top at least 12 years ago. I had it quilted at least 5 years ago. St Pauls is sending a work crew to Puerto Rico and is having a fundraising auction, just the impetus I needed. The binding is a leftover piece of another quilt binding. Now, some precious handwork time to finish it up!
