Zip!
That was fun!

Measures 72 by 90 inches
Block finishes 9 by 6 inches
Print: two rectangles cut 9 1/2 by 2 inches; six 2 inch squares

I have to make backs for this and the framed nine-patch.
The shoo-fly, pinwheels, and geese in flight are at the quilter.
The ships and churn dashes are bound and complete!

  3. It seems like you just started this one! I like it. I think I will cut for 2 or 3 of your quilts at the same time once I get the solid color fabric out. This one is definitely going to be one of them. Thanks for the measurements. I love doing math but it's nice to not have to once in awhile too.

  13. I found your blog because of Wanda, at Exuberant Color, of course, and I have to say that I am CRAZY WILD about all of these quilts that you have come up with in your prints with solids series.

Tonight I tried 4 blocks of this zip design, and I LOVE IT !

  14. The top looks fantastic. I am totally making one of these or more! I love the look of it. My Sunshine group has completely embraced your Horizon pattern. We have easily made 20 - 30 of them over the last year.
I plan to introduce this pattern to the group. We will see what happens....
