When you are thinking of throwing away the less than perfect photos, think how precious they may be 80 year later.

Sometimes the things in the background become important too, houses that were pulled down, empty blocks where new houses have been built, sheds that have disappeared or trees that have grown enormous since then. In one photo of Keryn and I when we were five I suddenly noticed the lack of gardens in the houses around us and no trees on the footpath or in back yards. Made me realise how much had changed, not just us!

  2. Right now I see the old red barns falling down. My grandparent's farm house is gone and I just wish I have better picture of it to show my children...
