seeing stars sew-a-long, top completed

Seeing Stars sampler
80 by 99 inches

Turning Twenty had a sew-a-long Seeing Stars. I altered their set a bit, making extra blocks to make my version work. I used several yellow solids for the block backgrounds and found this fun yellow floral for the setting blocks and borders.
It was a fun sew--I look forward to seeing more versions.

  1. Love the soft yellow fabric you used for the setting blocks and borders. You should be very proud of this one. It's gorgeous!

  6. Lynn, all because of you, I have spent my Saturday morning looking through your blog back through 2011. Then decided it was time to move.
Your quilts are grand. I love scrappy and your use of solids.
Interesting, I live in Roscoe, am a Nurse Manager for OSF, grew up in a rural town in Minnesota and have a passion for quilting.
Pinned a great many of your quilts (of course gave you the credit).
Thank you for a lovely morning!
