Your quilt is beautiful. I've always loved the Jacob's Ladder block because of the Biblical references in Genesis 28:12 and again in John 1:51. I like to think that our grand and great-grandmothers were thinking of these verses when they made their Jacob's Ladder quilts.

Jacob's Ladder quilts always give such movement for the eye. Especially when there is good contrast between the center section and the outer corners.
