shoofly

Lori over at Humble Quilts is having another of her delightful quilt-alongs using an old shoofly quilt.


The bumble bee paisley has been an important part of my stash for over 25 years. It is a piece of Italian lawn that shows up in many of my quilts.

I don't understand the use of the term "Italian lawn". I've never heard that one before. Can you explain it to me?
