spring is in the air!

No, not by smell or temperature, but by the sight of a pot-hole repair truck on our street--and it isn't even a local election year!
I love this quilt--gets me in a spring mood. The double 4-patch blocks measure 6 inches.

The quilt looks like spring, for sure. Potholes?? Good grief, we have some that are absolute craters! And no sign of pothole repair trucks anywhere! Of course, it won't stop snowing here either!

That is one SWEET quilt, Lynn! And it looks like a great one to use up little "collections" of fabrics.

I saw my first robin this morning...so perhaps Spring is right around the corner!

Nice springy colors in the quilt. We have had robins around for several weeks and yesterday I saw the crack sealing crew on the highway but the potholes could swallow a veedub! And all over the state there have been about 3-4 water main breaks a day for the last week. We have a terrible time with thaw during the day and freeze at night this time of year. Plus snow in May is not unheard of: spring, ya gotta love it.
