strings, purple constant

The Heartstring project asks for blocks made with a purple constant for children's quilts. I made up these blocks, then decided to use them for a quilt for a friend going through a difficult pregnancy. I love how it turned out, and will make more for the Heartstring project.

It's beautiful and giving it to your friend sounds like a perfect Heartstrings gift to me! Nice job!

Lynn it looks lovely and I agree with Carolyn that it's still a HeartStrings quilt even though its going to someone you know. While we donate many quilts to charity, we also have friends and family that are going through difficult times that we make and give HeartStrings quilts to. I hope her pregnancy goes well.
