egg hunt

Today is the day of the big LeClaire Avenue Egg Hunt, and it looks like there will be no snow, wind, or rain!
I hung out over the porch railings some of my Easter Egg colored quilts. I hope it distracts the neighbors from our less than adequate lawn and garden care...

Hi Lynn!
I have a question about your newel-post creatures. I've always been fascinated with them, the large lion ones, the angels over some doors, even the gremlins and monsters that make downspouts on older public buildings. Are yours eagles? Griffins? Winged dragons?

What's not to like about ANY quilts hanging on the railing? I'd overlook the lawn in a flash! Happy Easter!

Forest Jane,
This is my favorite site with gargoyle information--he is from Chicago and makes fun stuff I've seen in Hyde Park.
